week 5/6 T4 writting
Day 1
Have I ever told you about the time I was swallowed whole by a gargantuan whale shark? Something was lurking beneath me as I swam in the deep blue abyss that was the Indian Ocean. It had the biggest mouth I had ever seen. Feeling intense pain the next thing I knew I was being swallowed feet first by the biggest, scariest whale shark in the world. The sides of his throat squeezed me like a lemon being used to make lemonade. But before I could scream like a tiny baby I fell into its soupy, fishy stomach. It was gross. As I started to panic I saw the strangest thing. A clock with a gleaming silver key poking out the back. I reached towards it and turned it. That was the last thing I remembered.
Day 2
Slowly I opened my eyes and gazed around me. I was on the longest cobbled road I had ever seen. Amazed, I noticed it went on forever. Full of confusion, I started walking down the road. That was when I realised the clock was the key to everything; the key to moving through time and space. As cool as ice I decided to turn the key once again. Sharp electrical shocks ran down my spine and once again everything went black!
Day 3
Spitting sand out of my mouth, I woke up with a start. Where on earth was I now? A deafening roar made me jump to my feet faster than a cheetah sprinting after its lunch. Unbelieving, I looked left then right and took in the incredible sights before me. Dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes surrounded me. Looking down I saw I was standing in a nest where some small speckled eggs were hatching. Oh no! Where was their mother? A black shadow covered me. Horrified, I looked up. I was in so much trouble! Reaching for the clock, I turned the key for the third time. It was as darkness claimed me again I knew this epic journey was only the beginning.
